Memorable Last Day

15th November 2010

O.o This year's last day in school was pure awesome! It was a memorable one as we hung out with classmates. The PEDO 1 M'sia gang consist of Dian, Harshiah and me actually displayed our name tags and got caught by teacher wearing them. O.o scary wei.. but teacher didn't mind at all! haha We were being mischievous on the last day XD

During recess, all of us were busy cam whoring since we were given an hour of break time. So the PEDO gang made full use of the time taking....

After having fun at the canteen, we waited for Ms Winnie outside the teacher's lunch area so that we can give her A GIANT CARD FROM 4U as a sign of appreciation to her. MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE DID NOT CRY! Was about to but we didn't :D We shook hands with us as she received the card. I can tell that she was touched and that got my eyes heavy. (BUT DIDN'T CRY!) XD

After recess, Catherine and I continued circling around the school to collect donation for my dear classmate, Sara who lost her dad. O.O I was stunned when I found out from the announcement which was made that morning. A million condolences I would like to bid to her family and a moment of silence for her dad. I pray that she will stay strong and Heavenly Father, Son of God with the Holy Spirit up above will always be watching over her in life :D

After the collection, both Cat and I went to the conference room to count. And guess what, we collected RM700 for Sara! We were so glad on her behalf and it felt great as we did something for her :D Cbners were not as generous as I thought, especially my batch =_= Oh well, its the thought that counted so I would like to thank everyone who actually donated and for those who didn't, its alright...... :D

Overall, its the day that I will cherish my whole life. And it was the official last day for Ms. Winnie in CBN. She will be back after 3 years but we will not be in school anymore D: Hopefully she will return and teach. Even though I wasn't used to her teaching methods at first, I was motivated by her to work extra harder and avoid putting a mindset that A- is good enough. SO THANK YOU, TEACHER and I WILL MISS YOU!

Annual Campfire Night '10

O.o This year, we organized the annual Girl Guide Campfire again! This time, the organizer is Maxine and me.... co-organizer and temporary emcee :D The event didn't turn out as the way we had it planned but at the end of the day, it was still worth it! We had to share the HQ with a wedding event this time and to make things 'better', the sky cried as we were having fun at the field (RAIN T____T)

12th November 2010

Most of us stayed overnight on Friday to prepare for the big event :D But we had the worst sight of the dumping area. We had to cleaned up the most awful sight I have ever seen! O.o Oh well, we treated that one-hour community service as our kerja amal for Moral. hahaha Hitting two birds with one stone, awesome!

13th November 2010

Then, the day came! Towards the afternoon, all Food-committee members were busy cooking in the kitchen where as the others had to help with the Upacara Terbang Naik. When evening fell, all participants started coming. Campfire's introduction with the fire and fireworks were awesome eventhough we were sharing the joy with an Indian wedding in the hall XD

4U Class Party

O.o My class party was finally back for the fourth time in CBN. As usual for four consecutive years, my class had the most awesome and celebrated party! 1A, 2A, 3A and now 4U and hopefully next year, 5U will have another party too (fingers crossed). I think this year I ate like no one's business. Gain more weight T____T

Sometimes I really do flatter myself too much -_-" I wonder why? Now, knowing that I'm not as smart and talented as I thought, its time to do some self reflexes. Form 4 had taught me too many things about how harsh reality can turn out to be. I think the obstacles I faced throughout this year were ten times worst than my previous years. Maybe its because I've turned 16 where by changes occur rapidly D:

More lazy (10 times compared to last year)
Fatter (Increased by 3 kg)
Boastful (Monologue boasting)
More unorganized and less systematic
Temper has risen and self control went bad

Prefect Leadership Camp

22nd October 2010

Yesterday, all prefects were required to attend a leadership camp held in school (Both afternoon and morning prefectorial board plus the PRS) It was real fun compared to the prefect leadership camp two years ago which was pure TORTURE (speech, motivational talks and more talks) This time we had more games than ever! I was placed in Viva with Clarissa, Christina, Catherine, Aisyah, Debra, Wenn Yue, Kanimoly and Joanne.

Then, our game session started. All of us were required to squeeze into a big coil.... haha Still fresh in my mind, it was funny! We had to follow birthday dates from the eldest to the youngest.

I totally forgotten the guy's name. Oh well, I think its Encik Azman :D More fun than two years ago. THAT FELLA -_-

When night fell, we had a spaghetti challenge where by each group had to create a tallest and most stable tower using 10 strips of spaghetti and a roll of cellophane tape. It was real tough as uncooked spaghetti strips were breakable. Ours wasn't that bad after all.. tada :D

Then second day came which was today, we woke up as early as 6am due to NOISE. haha After breakfast, everyone started cam whoring. I only had currypuff for breakfast because I ate my own bread and snacks before that.

The games we had this morning were mind-boggling especially the stacking up 10 paper cups into a pyramid using a rubber band which was connected with four strings. We were not allowed to have any verbal communication. Only hand movements were allowed! haha Real interesting I can say. The day ended great! Not only I made many new friends (juniors), I enjoyed myself! :D

Holidays

Finally, the day which I have been waiting for has came! ITS THE STARTING OF MY BELOVED HOLIDAYS!!! :D Despite the pile of homework on my table, the bright side is, we get to escape from schooling life for A FORTNIGHT :) Something I have been longing for basically for the past two months!

Sorry, people. I know schooling life is the best! But seriously, too many things had happened over the past month and many things I need to get over with and just start over again. Plus, ever since I started my duties... I can't find time to revise. All I can ever do is just to complete my unfinished homework. hahaha

Patriotism Day

First time in four years, I attended the annual Patriotism Day putting on a traditional costume. Well, the reason I played truant for the last few years was because I only had one baju kurung which I wear almost every formal event since Standard Six. But this year, I managed to borrow a Punjabi suit from Kanimoly. So kind of her?! :D

Harshiah, Wenn Yue and I planned to help Kanimoly for the small VIP feast so we stayed back in the KH room to assist the teachers and served the VIPs even though we weren't Clean-co members! :D

Before the VIP arrived, we ran to the hall to listen to the results for the Most Patriotic Class Award and Best Banner. Guess what, both 1st placing goes to my class (4U)! Wooohooo... everyone got so trilled and delighted! Even teachers were happy for us including Ms. Winnie. hahaha

Gosh, finally after how many weeks....all 12 subjects' marks are out! Well, I can say that I didn't even care to take this exam seriously. haha So results are mediocre compared to mid term. The marks zoom down.

Annual Spring Cleaning

Finally, the day which I have been waiting for had finally come! *SPRING CLEANING!* Want to know why I love this day? Its the day where all classmates have fun together and escape from the realm of stress for once. LOL Eventhough only 15 of us came but we had the time of our lives as we enjoyed making our class as fragrant as lavender :D

Firstly, we identified our chairs and returned chairs which doesn't belong in our class back to other classes

After getting back our chairs, we went table-returning and table-searching. Each one of us went around the school searching for 4U tables and in a few minutes time, all 32 tables are renewed again although it was exhausting! :D

The only chores we forgot were dusting the fans and fluorescent lamps. haha We got too excited to start mopping. -_- Glad to say, the lab assistants and cleaners were so kind to lend us their mops and offered us detergents too. I LOVE MY SCHOOL STAFFS! :D

The juniors carried out their outdoor cooking test today and guess what, Maxine and I busy bodily supervised them and got ourselves covered in soot! -_- It has been a very long time since I last stepped into the hq and experience Girl Guiding tests again~ Wow, it felt great wanting to get involved again by helping the juniors.

At least, with Maxine and my supervision... the juniors passed with a condition which is to finish their log book by 28-29 of August. Phew, I thought they weren't able to finish in time as the weather was so uncertain and honestly, you girls are still not pro in taking care of the fire and easily give up! Haiz, hope that you can learn from your mistakes as you will need it for your Permit.

So for that, I would like to congratulate all the juniors for willing to endure the lecture of Pn. Lucy and able to handle the stress during those 4 hours.

Last Day of The Month

JULY

A month full of stress from exams, busy on events and disappointment from exam results.

I just can't believe that form 4 is ending soon and it will soon be the end of 2010. AND NEXT YEAR IS SPM!!!! Omagosh, thinking about it makes me feel so unprepared.

I'm always wondering what if I really leave school after SPM and start missing every single moment I had in school? The moments with my friends, juniors, seniors, teachers, staff and many more! I'm just so afraid of regrets because the last time I regretted, it was real heart-aching.

Truthfully, I regretted those moments not appreciating Suann a couple of years ago who I call my 'God sister'. I only found out how to appreciate her on the last month of my last year in afternoon session. SO REGRETFUL! TT And the moments as an afternoon session prefect when we had fun like no one ever had and got to know juniors! And the moments I had in Form 3 where everything was FUN FUN FUN eventhough PMR was kind of stressful for us that time.

Awww, I missed those moments so much! XD That is why I always wished for a genie to bring me back in time or a time machine magically appear in my life so that I can repeat those moments again and again!

The reason why I cherish every moment now is because I would not want more regrets in the future since going back in time is IMPOSSIBLE! The eighth month of 2010 is tomorrow and that marks that 3/4 of the year has passed. I'm going to enjoy it with my classmates of 4U and also with my seniors plus juniors especially my God sister :D

Senior Prefect's Party

Right after school today, all senior prefects and teacher advisors for the Prefectorial Board were invited for a party which we organized. At the same time, we were also celebrating Miss Sarah's birthday and farewell party. Everyone was excited as we were supposed to serve our own seniors and gave them gifts for appreciation. :D

However, most of the seniors preferred self-servicing themselves and that includes my senior, Joey too. So most of us didn't serve them instead we waited for all of them to start eating first, then we started serving ourselves. THE FOOD WAS EXTREMELY SPICY! O.o

After the feast, it was photography session for both seniors and juniors. Then, Miss Sarah gave a farewell speech and we sang birthday songs for her before she cut the chocolate cake. XD There were envelopes put up on the boards with each written the seniors' name. All of us wrote a short message for our own seniors and they wrote us back too! So fun and sweet :D

Such a nice senior I have?! Don't you worry, I will make sure that I won't get bullied and I'm going to break school rules without getting busted too (Its not my first time anyway) :P Lastly, all the best for SPM and better start switching to gear 5! <3>

Last Day of 2nd Monthly Test

Finally, 2nd Monthly test is done for good! Eventhough Chemistry was a mood-spoiler but I managed to get over that failure and moved on with life. I have to admit that this term, I didn't put much effort in my revision so got to pull up my socks higher for finals! :D

Well, for the first time, I felt that my Accounts paper was AWESOME <3> since I managed to equalize my balance sheet. HOW GREAT RIGHT?! By the end of the day, my brain was dead as we had three papers today (Add Maths, Biology and Accounts).

After school, had lunch with a big bro at Old Town which wass considered as a celebration after all the stress! haha Sorry bro for paying only a quarter out of the bill. D:

Well, our neighbour invited us personally for their Annual Campfire. Only seven of us were able to turn up today. They were from 4U (Harshiah, Hanani, Nina and me) and 3N (Jananey, Sara George and Felice). It was awesome man!

Wow, it was kind of unbelievable as I met many of my Guiding friends like Chaw Hui, Wen Cai, Yee Wei, Siew Thong, Chai Sin, Sook Ying and others. It was like Girl Guide reunion! haha

The biggest campfire I had ever seen. I really salute how they created that huge fire. GOSH, IT WAS TEN TIMES BETTER THAN OURS IN THE HQ!

The Eagle Scouts actually performed a group dance which was REAL HILARIOUS I tell you! Looked so gay and cute at the same time. hahaha After that, we had some games which were the ones similar to HQ campfire games. The climax of the event was when The Honest Mistake (A local band) performed! Everyone went mad especially the girls. O.o Because the electric guitarist was SOOO HOT! Seriously, I think all the girls were focusing on him only. haha

~YES, I FAILED MY CHEMISTRY PAPER~

Out of all subjects, I failed Ms. Winnie's subject. I was not surprised when I received my paper but I was stunned when I saw my marks (33%) I told my friends about my failure but they refused to believe me until I showed them my paper. Everyone thought that I was going to breakdown or something but I didn't. Instead I became so jumpy and went around telling everyone about my failure! Wenn Yue said that my screws went loose after experiencing a sudden blow, its kinda true actually! haha

Oh well, my first failure in my entire life has made me more determined to work extra harder for this particular subject! I HAVE TO PULL UP MY SOCKS FROM NOW ON :D

NRC 2010

This year the zone level is held at the National Science Center yesterday (21/7/10). Our school sent six teams this time (3 for Vertical Limit category while 3 for Treasure Hunt category) After months of practicing, the day has finally come! However, my team didn't manage to win anything but Dee Hva's and Farhanah's group managed to grab the 4th placing. Congrats to you, girls! :D But teacher wasn't satisfied because we lost to SJI teams (a.k.a. brainless dudes according to her) haha

After the competition, we went to the canteen and prepared ourselves for the exam. Teacher brought our Sivik and PJK papers, and asked us to sit in pairs. It was the best exam moments as we were allowed to put on our mp3s while taking the exam. SO FUN! Frankly speaking, discussion among ourselves actually happened in the canteen when teacher wasn't noticing. XD

Losing Myself Lately

Well, the senior prefects stepped down on Tuesday and left us, juniors all on our own. Installation was on the same day too. Guess what, right after their step-down performance, I went back to my point duty and had the 'best' moment to start the day. My middle finger got trapped in the stupid hall door and ended up bleeding like no one's business. I realised it when I was adjusting my tie.... HOW GREAT?!

14th Jul7 2010

My first official day as a prefect started great! I remembered to carry out my canteen duty on time and prepared the hall together with my friends for PTI (Parents & Teachers Interview) The funniest thing for me was when I was doing my canteen duty during recess while holding the registration numbers, suddenly an announcement was made :

Perhatian, Ng Mei Wern sila naik ke atas pentas sekarang. Saya ulangi Ng Mei Wern, sila naik ke atas pentas sekarang.

I was about to eat when I heard that. When I got up the stage, I was wondering what was so urgent until they need me. Then, I realised that some parents were waiting at the registration table so everyone started working. Head prefect put in charge of the registration... gosh, she actually trusted me! haha All of us were known as the Parents Service Department as all of us greeted every single parent that came into the hall LOUDLY. Gosh, so friendly and shocking for some of them! LOL

The event supposed to end at 2 pm but 4N's interview was SOOOOO long and it ended at 2.30pm. Afternoon session parents were anxiously waiting for the morning session to finish while afternoon session prefects were busy arranging furnitures in the hall. Seriously, 4N took so long to finish and I have to wait for them and clear up everything by 3 pm. After that, CBN had netball entertainment. Ukrainians came to have a friendly match with CBN net-ballers and proud to say that we won (11-9)

15th July 2010

My day duty was on today and I was in charge of the register. LOL I did it without my senior, yay! Independent for once! XD Then, got news we need to skip classes for backdrop. Haiz, why again?!

16th July 2010

Today, I think its the worst day of the week. Firstly, my Physics teacher got mad when some of my friends and I skipped his period for backdrop. I had no idea that he was going to carry out two experiments today. Secondly, the colour for this current backdrop turned up to be quite dull (such a waste of time!) Thirdly, monthly test is next week and I'm totally not prepared for it plus my homework for today just pilled up like no one's business since I skipped four periods. TT Lastly, the most heart-aching news for me was another group's robot actually was able to climb the pole although it was built only TODAY where as we worked our *** off for the past few weeks and our robot couldn't even budge. Aargh....!!!!

Truthfully, I have regained my confidence in being a prefect. But obviously, I tend to abandon and ignore someone again since I'm soooo busy. I just wish to talk to that person more often again and not be busy. Haiz, what to do?! I've gotten the job, the only thing I want to do is to strive for the best and maybe, one day I may forget about that person and finally move on. Well, only time can tell and all I can do now is pray for a better tomorrow. XD

Wah, this is the only time my mind is free from everything that revolves around me. The best thing I just did today was I made full use of my feeling-free moment studying Chemistry. Yeah, can you actually believe it? ME studying CHEMISTRY, Ms. Winnie's subject! :D

Despite me being a nerd for today, I didn't manage to cover Chapter 6 because I got lazy! haha At least I spent sometime updating my Restaurant City and catching up with Harshiah after a fortnight leaving her with her gang. Too soon to say. Later, the next thing I know is me getting twice as many problems as the previous ones. Well, great feelings don't last for long so I'm enjoying it till something bad comes! How optimistic~ :D

Career Week

Nothing much to say as the Form 4's didn't have much activities for this event. We only had an-hour career talk last Tuesday. Well, I got forced randomly into law and guess what, I almost slept in that room! LOL To get rid of my boredom, I looked around and realised that there were mostly form 5's who were really interested in this field. Oh well, I'm absolutely sure that I won't get any close to law so it was a waste of time for me in there D:

Robotics Practice

Competition is in two weeks and staying back for hours doesn't seem to work. Wenn Yue, Mei Jen and I spent this whole week staying back to finish building our robot. haha Then, it all happened when programming has started. Everything just went wrong! Seriously, I see no light at the end of the tunnel. I GIVE UP D: I can't believe all the hard work has ended up with nothing. (I guess we will just have to forget about winning this year) How pessimistic! haha

Book-checking

The best news to start the week was MY PHYSICS TWO went missing! haha Well, book-checking for my class was on Friday and I managed to recopy the whole book in one night last Monday (11pm-5am) Besides that, I'm real worried about my Chemistry books as Ms. Winnie collected it last week and I didn't care to finish my corrections. OMG, I'm praying that I won't get called! O.o

Probation Period

Gosh, this week had been rather saddening. You wanna know why, as usual those past memories relive again! Our batch got complained like mad during the recent meeting. Oh gosh, the only thing that I couldn't believe was our own head prefect addressing (well, more towards lecturing) us as probates showing a lousy performance whereas she is a probate herself. LOL

Haiz, let bygones be bygones! Learn to live with what you have if not they will just be regrets in the future. Secondly, the seniors are stepping down next week. Gosh, so fast! I'm really gonna miss them.... although it was only two weeks following my senior, I have learnt alot. Thanks Joey :D

Speech Day 2010

Well, glad to inform that this was my first event as a morning session prefect on probation. From what we heard, it was a successful event. Everything went well, both seniors and juniors cooperated especially went we were cleaning up the hall.

All thanks to TEAMWORK

The hall was basically empty after 20 minutes. (That efficient!) hehe We formed chains to passed the chairs and guess what, I got bruises all over my left arm by the end of the day. My parents jokingly told me that I looked like I just got abused in school! HAHAHA

My plan was to post the awesome backdrop here but Dian has not posted it up on Facebook yet. So I will wait till then...

Today was one of the most hectic day of the week but at the same time, it was real fun!

FYI, I think most of my class prefects have been missing classes for the past few days. Throughout this week, the longest I've stayed in class was for two periods which happened to be for Biology (Today). The other days, I didn't enter at all and was left with a pile of homework to hand in by the end of the week. How great?! Like what Pn. Nor Haida said, prefects are maids of the school. HAHAHA

Planning Committee :

Thanks to Shu Yee, Dian, Hannah and I learnt how to handle tone spraying on polystyrene. Not to perasan in this, but Dian and I sprayed the purple and IT TURNED OUT GREAT! We were so happy and proud of ourselves. After that, we painted the borders purple too to give the alphabets outstanding effects.

In conclusion, I mastered three compulsory skills needed for creating backdrops

The next program was the Speech Day's Concert Preview for this coming Saturday. Well, it was AWESOME! :D I really enjoyed the KESENAS dance, Bangla dance, Choir and Band performance.

For me, I think I got overexcited when choir was on. LOL Especially the rapping part. OMG, Dian and my dear Suann actually rapped on stage! It was AWESOME AND COOL, words can't actually describe (in a good way)! My dear, if you happened to read this : You were seriously cute and yeng on that stage. Can't stop smiling when you were performing, I WILL SHOUT 'ENCORE' IF I'M ALLOWED TO! :D

A second preview was held for the afternoon session to watch. Well, the hall was a carbon dioxide sauna as it was real stuffy and suffocating. I was backstage helping the seniors and it was extremely stuffy! At least, I get to watch for the second time and I'm really sure that I will get to watch it on Saturday again as prefects need to stay back until the end of the day.

After the concert, several Planco members continued on with our job. We started setting up the backdrop. We thought it can be done by 4.30pm but it is still undone as there were missing alphabets and too many bent needles so we couldn't finish our tasks.

Got back at 5.20pm and dropped dead on my couch. What a tiring day?!

My senior? CHONG JOEY, 5K

She's like so nice and kind to tell me everything that I need to know. The best part is she teaches me tips and ways to handle them. SO NICE OF HER?! And she doesn't force me to skip classes for Planco (Planning Committee) instead I volunteered to learn. Plus, I don't need to come at 6.50am unless I got day duty. haha

I've been acting really MC ² this week. Sadly, I realised that my eagle eyes need some eyewash TT They worked well two years ago with the collection of 300 over offences in eight months. But now, what a disappointment! I can't even spot students wearing PJK attire nor folding up their sleeves. Joey have to give me hints to spot those offences then only I can take action. Am I really MC ² or am I just rusted?

This really upsets me as I feel that I disappointed my nice senior with my horrible performance. Haiz.. hopefully my eagle eyes are back to help me overcome this!

Yesterday, Harshiah, Syaminee, Ashiqin and I represented our school for the Explorace competition in SMK Desa Tun Hussein Onn. We went to Setiawangsa together and waited for teacher.

But she was late so we did many funny things! The bridge story : We got impatient so we wanted to ask Sara's mom who was right opposite the road. Syaminee and Harshiah were chosen to cross the bridge to get Pn. Tan's number. Unfortunately, there were three guys on the bridge and both of them refused to get up there although we were watching from below so Ashiqin and I were determined to replace them but THEY STOPPED US BECAUSE THEY WERE AFRAID THAT THEY MIGHT HARASSED US hahaha Ridiculous, I can really tell?!

At last, Syaminee and I crossed the road. As we were crossing the 2nd part of the road, we turned back and saw Pn. Tan walking. LOL So we ran back to the taxi stand. Pn. Tan was lecturing us because of our stupid act for crossing the road. Then, she forced Harshiah and Syaminee to cross the bridge and THEY DID! Felt like smacking each of them because they finally crossed it and the best part was, nothing happened. In conclusion, Ashiqin and I took all the blame for the previous incident as we were in the cab with teacher. Oh goodness, 'Thanks" to Harshiah and Syaminee we got all the lectures to start the day FOR YOUR SAKE!

We had all the time in the world to answer those questions but WE RUSHED LIKE NO ONE's BUSINESS as teachers were pressuring, rushing us and even asked us to shoot alphabets into the answers. Everyone thought that the competition had 10 stages or more. Well sadly, they only had FOUR! haha At 11.30pm, we were asked to assemble at the same spot to listen to the answers. I knew we were not going to win as many answers of ours were incorrect. (most can actually get correct if we hadn't rush in the first place)

Although we didn't win, we had fun! And the best part we heard from school was the whole day, they sat in class and did NOTHING! First time in history, 4U was so relaxed. Good news and progress on stress management :D

Well, its already a Sunday and it marks the end of my holidays. TT Man, I only enjoyed my first week hanging out but sat at home for the second week just to complete MY HOMEWORK! And I'm proud to say that Physics is the only homework left untouched now.

Wow, it has been such a long time since I felt this way. Well, my mom kept lecturing me to QUIT TAKING NAPS IN THE AFTERNOON and QUIT FACEBOOK-ing so much! Finally, I listened today which made me so proud of myself. haha

As usual, since I started Girl Guiding... the term 'early bird' existed no more so I changed it to 'late bird'! Usually, I will have to stay up just to complete my log books, researching and blogging but now, log book is out of the list. :D There was once I slept at 6am when I was supposed to be awake by 6.15am. hahaha Hillarious moments I can really tell!

Just to let you know, school is reopening in a week's time and I HAVE NOT TOUCH MY HOMEWORK! It was really dumb of me to think that I can finish all in three days. haha I just spent the whole week outdoors from morning to evening and by night, I watched TV until middle of the night. SO CALLED 'Working hard'! Supposedly by today, I have to start studying but since my homework is barely touched, I have no choice but to postpone my revision time. Haiz..

I cannot believe that my two weeks of holidays are ending soon. Wow, time really flies! Can I not return to school? I'm seriously enjoying my time here... although I kinda miss my friends and my dear Suann already. (hopefully you're not reading this, later you perasan pulak) hehe

Centenary Friendship Trail

Today, all Queen Guides 2010 had to organize an hour program for the Centenary Friendship Trail participants, Guiders and high commissioners. Well, Alyea and I were the emcees of the day (SHE DRAGGED ME IN!) haha Basically, we were told that 250 people will be coming but...

Does this seems like 250? Nah, I think its less than 200...

In my opinion, I think we handled the program kinda well although we did not have time for the rest of the program that we prepared for them. I guess the one we prepared was more for a two-hour session. haha After the Queen Guides session with them, the program continued on with the planting of trees.

Queen Guide Award In Marriott Putrajaya

The moment every Queen Guide candidate has been waiting for had finally come! All 44 of us stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in Marriott Putrajaya to accept our Queen Guide Award on the 8th of June. We were supposed to accept it from the Queen but she fell sick so Datin Seri Paduka Rosmah Mansor had to replace her. :(

Oh well, lets start with the first day. Sara, Zhen Ning and I supposed to be roommates in room 860 as we checked in quite late compared to others. But Zhen Ning swapped rooms with Shereen and Alyea moved into our room so....

Our beloved room had a really nice view. Seee.... There's a pond and a golf course and a fountain.

The first half of the day was a TALK from a newspaper reporter. IT WAS SO BORING! Everyone did not pay attention to the talk also. I was texting and playing handphone games for the whole time.

After that talk, we had an hour's break as we rested and watched tv in our rooms. At 7.30pm, we came down to the lobby and headed to Summer Palace, thinking that dinner will soon be served. What a joke, I tell you?! Instead of waiting for our food, we had to listen to another talk about human trafficking. OMG, everyone was starving until 9.30pm when they served the dishes after the talk.

After dinner, all of us returned to our rooms with enthusiasm. I knew that we were going to stay up for the night. haha

2nd Day

The next morning, none of us were able to wake up although the alarm has been snoozing for quite a while. We were supposed to be at the lobby by 7.oo am at least, for breakfast but we woke up at 6.52am. hahaha So we panicked and rushed off and came down at 7.15am. We thought we were VERY late but actually there were others who came later than us!

Truthfully, I had the best breakfast ever in my whole life (Can't really describe it here, Sorry)! After that sumptuous breakfast, we waited for the bus at the lobby for our next program in SMK Presint 11(2)

After our session in SMK Presint 11(2), we continued our program with a tour around Putrajaya. Sorry to say, it was the worst tour I have ever been! Instead of going out and taking photos and visit, we actually sat in the bus and listened to the tour guide, explaining to us about every building. The microphone wasn't even working so all I heard from the back of the bus were vowels (a,e,i,o,u) At least, we captured some photos from the bus... hahaha

The dinner was heaven for me as I ate a lot! hahaha We were entertained by performances which made us laughed and loosen up ourselves. KL Guides and Commissioners actually did choral speaking on stage but wasn't a success. Haiz.... The event was over at 11.30pm

Finally the ultimate day has came! Before the award, I went to the toilet for a nice face wash so that I can avoid sleeping during the speech.

Well, what has been on last month?

I got water-baptized!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...... on what day? I forgotten, but wait till I get my cert.

After BSS, I had to catch up on my homework which I have abandoned for a week! Good thing, I managed to finish in time and the next thing was Mid term. As usual, I studied a day before each subject. (PROUD TO SAY) :D Yay, congratulate me for surviving two week's exam by studying everything a day before!

Last minute preparation shows 'wonderful' results too... For the first time in my life, the results I aimed for is a PASS. I don't put such high expectations on ALL subjects because everything was last-minute! haha

After exams, everything came back to usual. BEING BUSY IS WHAT I DO BEST! I can really tell you that the week before school break was HELL seriously. It was the most hectic week I have ever been through~

Monday (31/5) - Pembentangan for Israk
Tuesday (1/6) - Preparation for campaign and finishing Sivik folio
Wednesday (2/6) - Campaigning and MORE CAMPAIGNING!
Thursday (3/6) - Prefect election and a pile of homework comes in..
Friday (4/6) - Teacher's Day celebration and then, headed for tuition till 6pm
Saturday (5/6) - Supposed to attend a meeting but got too exhausted plus had no transport. Packed bags for Marriott Hotel in Putrajaya.
Sunday (6/6) - Went to church and then, headed to Putrajaya.

See??? But at least, I survived! haha

Well, the campaign was fun and stressful! Fun in the sense when we promote ourselves while stressful in the sense when we ran all around the school searching for hand-outs all ours.

Despite the moments of being busy and optimistic to survive busy schooling hours, there are rough moments too. Have you ever felt that someone you cared about doesn't bother you anymore? No matter how much attention you get from others, THAT PARTICULAR PERSON WILL NOT REALISE... Well, I'm in that situation.

Honestly, I don't wanna seek attention from others but only hers. Even communicating with her is so difficult now and THE EXCUSE I OFTEN USED IS THE WORD B-U-S-Y. Well, I blame myself for that but no matter how much I tried to keep myself out of it, I KEPT FALLING INTO IT! It was a piece of cake to give her a hug or talk to her two years ago, but now although she's near but yet she's so far away. Is it my turn to get stuck in teenage depression? Haiz... why now?!

The best solution I got was to GET OVER IT! But easier said than done because everytime I forget, she reappears in school. SO AM I STUCK IN THIS DILEMMA UNTIL I LEAVE SCHOOL?! I used to love going to school because she will always be there, but now I loathe it because I'm actually suffering from both my busy-ness and depression.

Believe me, she don't need me anymore as she got peers that she can go along with AND I'M ALWAYS TRYING TO ACCEPT THAT FACT but it never works because she's my listener and that shows that I still need her. She listens to all my problems and almost everything I tell her but she doesn't really tell me anything about hers. Truthfully, I barely know anything about her anymore... except her birthday. THATS ALL! This really upsets me and I ABSOLUTELY THINK she don't even know about this! haha

Wow, that's a great feeling for spilling everything out in an abandoned blog! Oh well, she won't even notice that I post this up here. hahaha

Frankly, staying busy is what I do best to keep my mind of this things but it will eventually return when I see her in school so I'M STUCK WITH THIS DILEMMA until I leave school! :(

THE BEST TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION WAS HELD ON THE 4TH OF JUNE 2010! LOL It was the best as 4U came together and went hyper as a class. We even sat together and sing along to HOT MUSIC while waiting for the concert to start. My favourite song, What You Waiting For by Mizz Nina and Colby O' Donnis was on! However, the best part was the PROTESTING SESSION OF SOMEONE. LOL

World Milk Day

On the 30th May, I went for World Milk Day which was held outside of Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. I was excited as I thought we were going to give out milk to people. However, I was told that we were supposed to wait and drink milk! haha I didn't believed at first but I ended up waiting outside Pavilion for 3 long hours until its 11 pm before WE CAN DRINK MILK!

This event actually made me realised that there were so many uniform bodies in KL. I saw Brigade Prince (direct translation from Briget Putera) with so many badges on their sleeves. I think they are from the Navy. Must be next to the SEA... hahahaha

At least, we had free goodie bags and entertained by MUSIC! I missed AGC for this (how disappointing) :( Oh well, I kept my promise to my juniors for not ditching them this time.

On the 3oth April to the 2nd of May last year, I remembered that I went for my Permit test and missed Suann's birthday. Well, this year... another 'lucky' year of missing her birthday again as my BSS was held at the exact same date. LOL

Nothing much I can say about BSS since it was kind of stressful at first. But the best part was hiking around KL on the second day until my legs were about to fall off. haha GLADLY, I CAN SAY THAT I SURVIVED!

March Holidays

Another busy day, I went to SPCA, Selangor Club and Kelas Dua Camp on the same day. LOL

Well, the day started of at 9am in the morning when Wen Qing, Claire, Yu Wein, Wenn Yue and I carried out our Moral project in SPCA, Ampang. haha It was real fun! The first thing that went across my mind was 'I'm praying that the dogs and cats there are clean!' However, everything was different when I stepped foot into that place. THEY WERE SO CUTE AND FRIENDLY! :D

We finished our project at 11.00pm.. Leaving the place heavy-heartily TT. Next, headed to Harshiah's house since we finished early! We went ballistic until 12.30 pm when her dad came and fetched us to DBKL Library which was opposite of the Royal Selangor Club. 'Discussing about Career Folio', that was what we did! But I don't think so since we ENJOYED EATING MORE THAN DISCUSSING. haha

After Royal Selangor Club, rushed back home to pack my bags! I know it's kind of last minute.. LOL At 9.00 pm, my dad fetched me to Brickfields and excitedly, went to check out the campsite.

As soon as I reached there, I saw parents waiting outside of the hall and heard Cik Masturi's voice. I jumped into conclusion that they were being lectured and I WAS RIGHT! After settling myself, as usual... work comes in, had to boil water, eggs and clean up the place until 3.30 am. Gosh, the whole hq was crowded with AJK's so had no choice to sleep on the table.

My bed for the first night! :D Shereen was TOO HARDWORKING to do log book... The next morning, I had a REAL BACK ACHE..

Second day came, they went for a hike in the morning. Thinking that was 7 km, I got so excited to settle my Challenge Badge but too bad, it was only 1 km. So I made full use of it to do my Pencegah Kemalangan Badge!

Then, night came... CAMPFIRE went on as usual. Couldn't remember anything special about it. But all I can recall was, EVERYTHING ENDS UP WITH A NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. Haiz.. regretted for wasting my time there.

On the third day, the campers that didn't finish their fire building test on the second day carried out their test along the road. They really had funny ways in building them! HAHAHA Then, the closing ceremony where everyone got their Pra-Persetiaan settled in a LARGE GROUP!

O.O I just realized that yesterday was the worst day of this year! I ACTUALLY CRIED IN FRONT OF A TEACHER... haiz, after chemistry some more. I think showing that I'm strong and able to take harsh scoldings didn't work this time as I burst out in tears as soon as she left the class.

Unfortunately, after all that... when I was able to calm down, she reappeared in front me and this time, I WASN'T LUCKY AT ALL! She saw me from afar and called me... Negative thoughts were running across my mind but I stayed strong as I went to see her. Hahaha Then, the hilarious part came along as I thought she was going to lecture me. But instead, she advised me what to do next time and avoid doing everything on my own. *Looking at her face* Tears shed as she went on.... OMG wei, it was just automatic! Why?! And my Add. Maths teacher who passed by showed her concern.

People : A reminder~ Please do not say "It's ok" when I'm in this kind of situation. It will make tears pour like rain even more.

Why why why??? I blame myself though as I checked everything from windows, rubbish bin, white board BUT I FORGOTTEN ABOUT UNDER THE DESKS! That was my mistake, and teacher spotted that... haiz, How can I be so careless to miss a spot?!

Sometimes I really wonder :

(I'm totally fine with the pressure and stuff.... but seriously getting scolded for 10 times from the same teacher is really discouraging. And this 10th time happened to be the WORST as it affected me emotionally. You may not know how many more times I will get scolded in oder to satisfy her requirements as a class monitor. TT

Nevermind, I will just let bygones be bygones.... there's nothing much I can complain now. All I can worry now is my pile of homework and log books. I guess staying busy can help me forget about what happened yesterday.

My Sweet Sixteen

I'm officially sixteen now and no more 15 +... I'm feeling very old now TT Anyway, today was kind of torturous sixteen rather than sweet. Been running around like a donkey for the whole day, embarrassed myself by tripping over a bag in front of EVERYONE and what some more? Oh ya, missing my classes and had no idea what was today's homework TILL NOW.

Haiz, I'm feeling happy but at the same time so exhausted after a tiring day. Despite all that, I'm really looking forward to CNY this year. Surely, extra ang paus will come in! $$$ hahaha

This holidays are not all about ang paus or lanterns or reunion dinners, PEOPLE... WE GOT HOMEWORK! Oh gosh, I will sink myself in homeworks and log books (2 more). Really need to gambateh, plus I got oral test and spot talk to prepare (all have to be done in a weeks time). STRESS MANAGEMENT IS NEEDED RIGHT NOW!!!

Yeah, stay strong Mei Wern! You can do it, even though you spent 2009 complaining about your miserable life...Now, its time to change! Appreciate every single moment until my secondary school life finishes at 2011. LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST!

Shockingly, I got an A+!!!! hahaha Well, its only a monthly test but its my first time sitting for Add. Maths, can't blame me for being jumpy the whole day! But she was teasing me the whole time for my silly mistake! haha My ONLY mistake was leaving my answer as x= 0/2 which was actually UNDEFINE (0).

BAD NEWS

Secondly, I got a call from Pn. Toh yesterday. And the one thing I regretted was to answer that phone call because she gave news that I have to hand in my log book by next Tuesday and if I don't, I WILL NOT GET MY BADGE!!! Aargh.... why do they have to torture me?

Second Day of Community Service

Another day of exhaustion for everyone. Today, we started spraying! haha And many of them turned up today which made me so happy and thankful to God. But before we start spraying, we had no choice to cover the wall with newspapers.

A Short Rest

I got no transport to go for the conference today. So sad! At least, I can stay at home after a long busy week... but instead, I spent the whole day blogging. hehe

Slept till 12 today... Don't blame me for being a pig! Everyday throughout this week, I had to wake up as early as 7 am.

I'm still wondering how am I going to finish my holiday homework in time when I haven't start anything yet! Haiz, got a few more weeks before school reopens. I DON'T WANT HOLIDAYS TO END SO FAST! I spent too much time being busy man... no time to enjoy my holidays. TT

Tree Planting

18th December 2009

Today, we planted trees in USJ 2/2L. Before we start, we were divided into pairs. I was paired up with a guy named Timothy who was two years older than I am. Then,a representative from MPSJ demonstrated first and he mentioned that girls cannot plant the trees. But YB Hannah let us try.

Briefing by YB Hannah Yeo.. and Malaysia Kini press was there. More publicity! hehe

MPSJ planted the first tree which was quite huge as a demonstration. He did it in less than 15 minutes man!

Timothy did all the work...HE GOT ALL THE STRENGTH TO DO IT. hehe I backed him up when he got tired. A nice guy btw...

Other groups were all busy planting their trees too.

After placing the tree in, Tim carried the fertilizer and started pouring them in.

My job was to make sure the fertilizer and mud was well mixed. Nicely using the cangkul to even the ground around the tree.

Other groups finish... Sze Kay helped other groups. Ugh, this guy disgusts me. He kept telling everyone he's from VI. Whats the big deal about VI anyway?

After everyone planted their trees, the representative from MPSJ praised us for doing such a good job in a short time (From 9.15am to 10.15am) YB Hannah Yeo asked us to come again if we are interested to do any environmental activities for USJ in the future. hehe I DON'T MIND AT ALL!

As we were walking down the slope to pick up rubbish around, somebody left their work undone so Su Wen, Chloe, Kaylee and I finished up that particular tree. Therefore, we planted a tree and a half! haha

After the tree planting activity, we went back to church for debriefing. Around 12pm, Chloe, Kaylee and I went to Su Wen's house to take a bathe and got some rest before workshops at 3. I'm so extremely happy now because I realized that I can use this activity for my Environmentalist badge.

Yeah, I belief we can do greater things for God! Bless others and you will be blessed.... We gave USJ more oxygen by planting 35 more trees today. YAY!!!

I woke up late today and I missed the bus to Subang Jaya so my dad had to fetch me to USJ 3. Today's conference, Poverty / Environment Group was going to carry out a gotong-royong in Subang Jaya neighborhood. We were divided into random groups and were given maps to our respective streets. I was in Alex's group with Chloe..

We covered 4 streets and got tired so we stopped for a while

Chloe and I were walking towards the BERHENTI signboard which had posters on it. The boys were having trouble removing them. LOL

What we did today came out in the papers the following day (NST). LOL YB Hannah Yeo was there and she told us the purpose of this activity and yesterday's voters registration. Wow, P/E group got more publicity compared to other groups man!

We had a great time cleaning up the Subang Jaya neighbourhood. Although the sun came out too early, we still enjoyed ourselves picking up rubbish under the sun once in a while. hehe

Childrens' Wish Society

15th December 2009

On the second day of the conference, the poverty and environment group went to Mid Valley and collaborated with Childrens' Wish Society. We were supposed to help Alicia Loh, a thirteen year old girl, suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type Two which is an incurable disease. Her only wish was to be a published author.

We represented all YCians to see her wish being granted and to help promote her book entitled 'The Last Chapter' in the MPH bookstore. That event appeared in the NST papers... I THINK HER WISH HAS COME TRUE since the news is now widely spread throughout Malaysia.

The book launch started..... YB Hannah Yeo, CEO of MPH and the CWS people were all there. Plus, 70 of us there...

Her parents gave a word or two made Kaylee and I cried. It was a bittersweet moment...

The money from the sale of her books will all go to her but she was so kind to give part of the money to CWS because she wanted to see other childrens' wishes fulfilled just like her.

She signed our books and gave wishes like 'Happy Holidays', 'Best wishes', and many more.

After the book launch, we went around MPH to promote her book. Coincidentally, I bumped into Shankan who I last met during World AIDS Day. What a small world?! LOL Kaylee and I managed to promote three books... YAY!!!

I have read her book and it was good! She's only thirteen and she's terminally ill but that didn't stop her from dreaming. Now, her wish has been granted and you can be a part of it by supporting her. 'The Last Chapter' is now available in all MPH bookstores so HURRY GO GRAB ONE!!!!

First Day of Amplified Conference '09

I'm proud to say that I signed up for Live.Revolution Amplified Conference '09! Woohooo.... Although I live 30 kilometres from FGA, I'm fired up for God! The first day was mostly on preparations before the community service projects were held.

I joined the Environment Group with Kaylee but its now combined with Poverty so its Poverty / Environment Group. Kaylee, Su Wen, Chloe, Gabrielle, Stephanie and I were in the same group. Rittie and Mellissa joined the Sick Group which associated with MAKNA where as Esther and Rachel joined the Refugee Group which were related to the Myanmar refugees. Petrina was with the Orphans Group. hehe

I love the backdrop man...AMP stands for AMPLIFIED!!!!! YEAH.... The lightings were awesome. Most importantly, the worship team rocked the session with God's presence for the whole week!!!!! Well, I got the whole week to enjoy worship during the conference.

My first day of my community service project was a success. 11/20 of my members showed up today. I felt so bad for bossing everyone around when I didn't do any work since I SUCKED AT DRAWING!!! REALLY SORRY GUYS!!!

9th December 2009

I planned to stay overnight at the hq for fun! And I dragged my juniors along with me. haha Frankly speaking, I didn't know that a day before camp could be so FUN with juniors around!!! While the juniors were busy completing their log books, Mei Hua and I went to Times Square to watch New Moon. Oh,yeah! But sad to say, the ending was dissapointing. We were supposed to be back at the hq before 7 for safety purposes.

After the movie, we headed to Sungei Wang Plaza to find a stationery shop. LOL I needed materials for my handicraft session during camp. At last, we went up to the highest floor and bought wrapping papers... Sad wei

When we came back, Mrs Lau was there signing the juniors' log books and she actually bought for us McD for dinner. She's so kind! As I checked the hall, Yinming, Xin Yi and Chaw Hui were busy handling their gadgets. O.O Thanks to my members, my gadgets were done in time! hehe

We were putting up the flysheet over the kitchen. All of a sudden, IT STARTED RAINING CATS AND DOGS

I was drenched from head to toe... and my members also joined me. When the rain finally stopped, we finished setting up the whole kitchen. Praise the Lord for the fun in the rain!!!!

After bathing, I got extremely hyper! During COH before camp, Pn. Toh discussed with us about the activities during camp.

Around two something, I ordered everyone to sleep ESPECIALLY MY MEMBERS because they were playing cards happily when it was already late. When everyone was about to sleep, I was too hyper so I woke up to disturb everyone. I took photos of them sleeping and the flashes of my camera really woke them up!!! haha

After an hour or two, Shereen came into the room. We started chatting about all sorts of things and went on until 6am. And guess what, the juniors didn't sleep but instead, they were listening throughout our whole conversation. How rude?! They didn't even say a word when they were awake and Shereen freaked out when someone shuffled her feet around 4.30am. Swt wei, it was actually one of them~

Its partly our fault for getting everyone looking like a zombie the next day. I felt so irresponsible as a Camp Commanden because I only slept for 15 minutes and my members didn't get enough sleep too. I was wondering how am I suppose to last for the day. Wah, but thank God! They were like iron woman...everyone was still so enthusiastic!

10th December 2009

When the twins arrived, everyone started working... we were supposed to set up the campsite before our next activity.

Kah Wei, Charis, Hannah and Amaani were setting up the A tent.

Pn. Toh was briefing us... I looked like a zombie at that time. Thank God, Hanani told me to take a bathe before we head to Vistana Hotel.

Around 10am, Mun Tung (Queen Guide 2006) came as a student from the Vistana Hotel International College of Hospitality.Wah, she really changed a lot compared to the last year! She divided us into three groups before we start our journey to Vistana Hotel by monorail.

When we arrived at the hotel, they briefed us about our activities we were about to do such as grooming class, mocktail class and napkin folding class.

First, we went for the napkin folding class where we learnt to fold three types.

Then, we headed for the grooming class. This is where they taught us how to tie our hair, speak, sit and many things! haha Hanani volunteered and one of the students tied a Bird Nest Bun for her. O.O She looked more bright and confident with her hair tied like dat.

Then, our last class was the mocktail class. O.O This class was awesome man because everything was non-alcoholic!!! We learnt how to make grange, kiwi margarita and romance.

The orange skin caught fire and made the grange tasted like orange mix with ginger beer. Cool!!!!

Pn. Toh also volunteered to make the drink. LOL It was an intense moment when she was holding that lighter and the orange skin.

In the afternoon, they prepared a section where you can make cupcakes. haha The chocolate cupcakes were absolutely better than the buttery ones... hehe

After that awesome session with the Vistana Hotel, we headed back to the hq to carry out our next activity which was CHALLENGES. All sub camp commandens were station masters. I was in charge of the Mobil station and I sat there for almost two hours waiting for all teams to find me. haha

After the challenges, everyone came back and started preparing for dinner which was spaghetti again. According to Kah Wei, our spaghetti was better than the hotel's spaghetti.

11th December 2009

After breakfast, all sub camp commandens had to rush to finish off the wide game. I tortured Pui Leng, Celestine and Kah Wei man!

Celestine and Pui Leng were making tea for an aunty in the kitchen which was Aw Maxine. LOL They were struggling to boil water since my other members were preparing lunch at the same time.

The game finally ended when they had to find for 30 persons' signatures. I think they 'enjoyed' that session very well!

Then, the moment I had been dying to avoid came.... jeng jeng jeng, PROPOSAL TIME!!!! I was supposed to be the third person presenting but turned out, I was the last. I waited for four hours man! By God's grace and the power of the Holy Spirit,MY PROJECT GOT APPROVED!!! I was extremely happy and excited... It felt like 3/4 of my stress was gone. Hallelujah!

When I came out, my group was arranging the store room as our community service. Quite neat!

They were cooking fried rice for dinner. It was going to be the last time using fire to cook our meal. Look at the flames!

We had a combined dinner with Alyea's group in the pondok. It was rather dark

Around 8.30pm, we were all struggling to find kerosene to build the campfire. Then, Pn. Toh told me that I was supposed to bring the kerosene when I HAD NO IDEA! While feeling frustrated at that moment, we didn't give up. We wanted to build a REAL fire this time and not using torchlights to represent fire. We borrowed Pn. Toh's candles, lit them up and throw them into the wok. Then, put six fire starters and SUDDENLY, FIRE APPEARED RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES!!! Praise the Lord man!

During the campfire, all groups displayed their masterpiece out of recyclable items for judging by Miss Tan. At the same time, we had Miss 3R competition and MY GROUP WON!!! haha Pui Leng dressed as Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls where as Charis dressed as Ben 10.

All members had to sleep in the tent except Kah Wei and I since we couldn't fit in that tent anymore. haha I took a shot when they were asleep. hehe

12th December 2009

It was the last day... I couldn't wait for it to end! We started putting down the tents

World AIDS Day '09

We did another voluntary work this time for the World AIDS Day! haha The same one we had last year on this very day..but this year was EXTREMELY MORE FUN! Balqis and I came early so we started at 2.30pm. We were put under Fyz (25) and Shankan (21)! We managed to distribute many ribbons and collected money for charity.

Shereen and the juniors came later.. so I didn't managed to see them until we finished our shift which was around 7pm. That was one of the reasons why Shereen suddenly got so siew hei because I ditched her with the juniors. Sorry lor...

Coincidently, we saw Carven and Yatta crossing the road. They were avoiding us! LOL It is her birthday today! Happy Birthday, Carven! haha

This year's World AIDS Day was better than last year... we did surveys last year. It was rather boring! haha At least, we had a good time laughing the whole time. Thanks to the people around us!

Family Vacation in Penang

I just got back from Penang! hehe It was really awesome. At least a holiday for me before I head for the busy holidays. We stayed at the Bayview Hotel in the centre of Georgetown. On the first day, we went to Batu Feringgi beach only since the long journey from Kuala Lumpur to Penang was extremely tiring.

We had dinner in a food court. I tell you, FOOD IN PENANG WAS SO CHEAP and it was not even a problem to find them along the road!!! But I think I ordered too much for dinner. LOL

Second Day

My dad's car broke down so he brought it to the nearby workshop. So unlucky! My mom, sis and I had to visit places within walking distance from the hotel like the Penang Museum, Penang Peranakan Mansion and the church.

We went to the Penang Museum first. It was kind of interesting and shockingly huge in the inside! haha Then, we walked to the Penang Peranakan Mansion. This mansion actually cost RM26 000 000.00.

My first time looking at the Chinese altar in a temple. haha Like the one in those Chinese drama! The 1st generation to the current one...

Those carvings and designs on the temple were actually quite fascinating!

O.O this one! This English dinning room was for the Chinese people. The owner of this place wanted Chinese people to try English delicacy.

We went up until the maximum and suddenly, I saw an aviary. My dad was reluctant to enter that aviary because he thought it was going to be a waste of money but everyone wanted to enter, so he just tagged along. We were actually the last customers of the day and we were all given children price! How cool is that!!!

On the 15th November which was last Sunday, we went to Tan Sri's house to celebrate her birthday. At first, I seriously don't know who was the house owner until Puan Toh showed Shereen and me. LOL *Going to someone's house without knowing what was happening*

Annual Campfire Night '09

On the 14th November which was last Saturday, the Form 3 Guides came together as a committee to organize the annual WPKL campfire night. We were all supposed to come at 8am. Some of us turn up that early and we waited for Pn. Toh! I think I just broke my own record for waiting. Pn. Toh came after six hours...LOL

See...I got so bored waiting. I had to visit the field and I SAW A SNAIL!!! The last time I saw a real snail was six years ago. LOL

Before the campfire night, the Upacara Terbang Naik was on for the Brownies... It was hilarious to watch them with the wings on.

The Last Day for Form 3's

School has finally ended for the Form 3's. Obviously we didn't end the year without bringing anything back home! haha Teacher gave us holiday homework as usual. Well, I didn't really spend my last day with my friends the whole day. Harshiah and I spent almost the whole day helping teacher. At least, I spent the last hour with my friends!

Although I didn't really enjoy throughout the year, mingling around with my classmates will always be the No. 1 thing to do. I'm going to be miss my beloved class TT Anyway, to all 3 Ayers : Hopefully, we will be classmates again next year!

Tangram Freaks

Today, we played tangram! Nicole, Syaminee, Rishantinee and me formed a group. LOL Everyone was too excited to start so we unscrambled everything without looking at the arrangement of the shapes in the given square. The square was included and we totally forgotten about the arrangement we saw! haha

We were supposed to make the square first!!!!!

We only managed to create 11 shapes. LOL The square was one of them because Syaminee figured it out at last! At the eleventh hour, I managed to arranged the shapes into A FISH which was the scariest one for us. Hallelujah!!!! At last, we got 3rd placing which was quite shocking because I didn't expect us to win anything since we were short-handed after Nicole left for band. haha Praise the Lord!

The school trip with my friends today was awesome! LOL We went to many places especially museums. It has been a long time since I last visited a museum. hehe Totally not Malaysian man! First, we visited the TUDM Museum....

Next, we went to the National Museum for the 1st time~ hehe It was the biggest among all museums.

I think our fifth destination was the Memorial Of Tun Abdul Razak. I thought it was going to be boring but it was actually interesting. That place was his house.... Very exclusive indeed especially the golden tap with diamonds and the elegant purple chairs in his living room! haha

We had our lunch before we headed to the Police Museum which was the most interesting one! Cameras were not allowed too... so I left it in the bus! But the exhibits about the communist, weaponry and vintage police uniforms caught my eyes.

After that, we stopped by Dataran Merdeka for fun! haha The weather was rather hot...

Our last destination was the Memorial Of Tunku Abdul Rahman. The memorial was bigger than Tunku Abdul Razak's! Too many displays about politics so I didn't really care much. We were supposed to read and take note about the exhibits because a quiz will be given at the end of the visit.

After our visit, a quiz was given and I managed to answer one question so I earned myself a goodie bag. Everyone was tired by the end of the day and we were dismissed around 4 pm. It was a great experience exploring historical places with my friends. If there's another one, I don't mind going! hehe

Kem Membaca '09 (Jejak Maklumat)

Today, Alini, Hanani and I represented our school for the Jejak Maklumat at Titiwangsa Lake, accompanied by Pn. Rosmaini. We thought it was going to be relaxing but it turned out differently... the activities included physical and mental challenges. MOSTLY PHYSICAL SINCE WE WERE WALKING AND RUNNING THE WHOLE TIME!

The briefing was on...

We started the hunt at the Astaka and were completing the 1st task which was a telematch. Then, we moved on to places around that place before running to the playground. After completing the tasks in the playground, we were supposed to head to the horses' stables but everything went wrong after that. The route to that particular place was really FAR!!!

Our next clue was hidden around the botanical garden which was opposite the horses' stables.

Then, we headed to the paddle boats... When we heard about that activity, we got excited so we quickly make our way there. BUT the distance from the stables to the jetty across the lake was further than before.

The distance was too far! I got bored so I took a very good shot of the Titiwangsa Lake. hehe

After miles of walking, we finally reached the jetty and we had to answer a few questions before we proceed to the next station.

Mostly History questions... So we were taking out all the facts from the core of our brains! haha

Then, we went boat paddling! I thought it was going to be fun until Alini handled the steer. We went in circles man! And paddling was not only tiring at that point, it was also frustrating since we couldn't move straight. Anyway, Hanani took over the steer and handled it well after that! hehe

When the hunt was about to end, our clue in the 2nd last station was taken by somebody. We spent too much time searching until five teams overtook us. The facilitators at that station pitied us so they asked us to answer the questions orally. The last task was to finish a portfolio and a poster of One Malaysia in less than an hour. Alini and Hanani wrote the long essays with bombastic words where as I drew the One Malaysia logo as the poster.

After the hunt, we spent about 10 minutes in the public toilet. Hanani and I were actually amazed by the cleanliness of the toilet and it was our first time entering a public toilet. LOL I didn't know that public toilets had nice flooring, air con, touch sensor sinks and flush. A very good experience indeed! hehe

Then, the prize giving ceremony was on. Although we didn't win any prizes but we brought home good memories to cherish besides a wonderful experience.

I know what RIMUP stands for! It means Rancangan Integrasi Murid Untuk Perpaduan... LOL This question came out but we didn't manage to answer it TT
